After Cataract Surgery how long before I am not so sensitive to the sun.? - cataract dry eye
I had eye surgery about 2 months. I have been still a difficult problem at the side of sunglasses, as appears to form the sun. I frowned more than ever. I also think we have a big problem with dry eye is that improvement? I drank lots of water trying to keep the body hydrated. At night there are halos around all the big fires. It is almost boring. If the halos are smaller and less visible?

Your eyes will get better. I had cataracts in both eyes, and a week after I that went to Spain for my holiday! Just wear my sunglasses when the sun was stronger.
The borders disappear with time - as you get used to it! Try not to squint you follow. Dry eye is also - in time, the use of artificial tears from the pharmacy.
I was only 40 when I had done to me - was the youngest in the hospital at least 40 years. When he had made it almost perfect - no probs with cataract only other problem I have with my eyes that will never get better - nothing particularly cataracts.
Be patient!
You should never go in the sun without sunglasses. Sunglasses are to be used at any time to go, and there is a cataract glossy or not. If you halos also call and talk to your doctor. Also for use Systane drops for dry eyes during the day and night GenTeal Gel.

I had cataracts in 3 weeks. I need glasses for night driving than the right eye has a halo. and the need for reading glasses. I always wore glasses vision of childhood long ago, but she could read without glasses. The ideal distance vision.but now I have no problem with the sunlight. Wear sunglasses when I during the day they cut the light from my right eye, my eye with a halo, so I can not use it. ps. I'm 60th and it is wonderful, without glasses most of the time. Thank you for the surgeons. We are very happy!
I think you should consult your doctor / ophthalmologist to learn about halos on.
A few people I know who wear sunglasses to 1 year after surgery. One of them said that the glasses are better than regular sunglasses. You can get them for only 3 pounds, the United Kingdom. Perhaps a little too dark, if you're going though a car.
The doctor told them that sunglasses are £ 2 and £ 3 are so good and more expensive, but a fancy name for the designer gets so much. Hope this helps.
